When is Eroica Britannia?

Friday 15th June 2018, Saturday 16th June 2018 & Sunday 17th June 2018

The festival site opens at Midday on Friday 15th June 2018 and runs until Sunday evening on the 17th June 2018.

 

Where is Eroica Britannia taking place?

 The Eroica Britannia Festival  takes place at our new home Friden Grange which is located just off of the A515 close by to Newhaven, Biggin & Hartington and a short drive from Buxton, Bakewell & Matlock.

The site is in the heart of the Peak District

 The Festival Address is

Friden Grange, Friden, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 0DY

When does the festival open and close?

The festival site with all its attractions is open daily from Friday 15th June and the Ride itself takes place on the Sunday 17th June 2018 only.

Friday 15th June 2018

Festival & all activities open at Midday to 8pm. The main HQ Bars,  The Britannia Arms, Food vendors, Fairground & Eroica Britannia HQ will be open till late.

Saturday 16th June 2018

Festival & all activities open at 10am to 8pm. The main HQ Bars,  The Britannia Arms, Food vendors, Fairground & Eroica Britannia HQ will be open till late.

Sunday 17th June 2018

Festival & all activities open at 10am to 8pm. The main HQ Bars, The Britannia Arms, Food vendors, Fairground & Eroica Britannia HQ will be open till late.

Riders on the 100 mile route begin to depart from 6am, followed by those riding the 55 mile and 25 mile routes. Join in our big Welcome Home party from 12pm onwards.

Campers and all vehicles must vacate the camping and parking grounds no later than 12noon on Monday 19th June 2018.

When is the ride?

The Eroica Britannia Classic Ride takes place on Sunday 17th June 2018

Riders on the 100 mile route begin to depart from 6am, followed by those riding the 55 mile and 25 mile routes. This will be via a rolling, staggered start.

More info on ride start times will be released nearer the time

However there is lots of other festivities taking place on the Friday and Saturday at the festival site.

What if I just want to do the ride?

Then you can. You can book just a ride place for the Sunday that doesn't include camping or parking. Please note that each rider entrant gets a weekend-long festival entry pass included within a ride place, so why not join us for the Friday and Saturday.

WHY DO YOU HAVE YOUTH TICKETS IF THEY ARE THE SAME PRICE AS ADULTS?

We have been asked by the local authorities to provide a Youth ticket for 2018 as part of our licensing and safeguard of children and young people at events.

This hasn't affected the price than young people 13 Years and older have to pay as this has always been a full ticket price. 

We have kept children 12 years and under free of charge. 

 
 

I have booked a ride place do I also need to book a weekend festival pass?

Each ride entrant gets a weekend-long festival entry pass included.

Can anyone enter the ride?

Yes anyone can enter. There are 3 routes, 25 miles, 55 miles and 100 miles. Those 17 years and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult. Please enter HERE.

 

Where can I hire an Eroica-ready bike?

Can I buy Festival tickets on the day?

 Yes! However we do recommend buying them in advance to secure your place.

As a person with a disability can I bring a carer on site for free?

If disabled guests are able to provide evidence of their disability (eg Access Card, blue, orange badge or similar) they are entitled to bring a helper free of charge to the festival only.

 Is there a Family Ride this year?

Yes! The Family Ride will take place on Saturday 16th June 2018 more details to come soon!
