Timothy Hoad is a New Age Folk Singer Songwriter delivering eclectic melody with ethereal vocals.
Timothy owes his love of music to his parents whom were avid listeners of 80’s pop, and from this he found what would later become his main influence, Enya, whose ethereal Celtic sound ignited Timothy’s imagination.
As an artist Timothy’s lyrics were usually about the many facets of love: self perception, love lost, love for another and more told through an evocative story or a positive light of self discovery and reflection which continues today.
Utilising his other influences including Billy Joel, Michael Jackson and Chris Cornell, Timothy came to label his sound as New Age Folk, a fresh angle on the traditional genre by uniquely making it stand out with rich reverb and lots of vocal harmonies. Timothy is based in Stoke on Trent, and is building up momentum as an independent artist.
We’re looking forward to hearing Timothy’s heartfelt melodies and ethereal tones at Eroica Britannia in Junes!
