Brewed in Italy since 1963, Peroni Nastro Azzurro is proud of its heritage and remains a genuine Italian import. Every drop of Peroni Nastro Azzurro is brewed in Italy in one of our three breweries in Rome, Bari and Padova.
In 1846 Francesco Peroni established Birra Peroni in Vigevano, in Pavia province of Italy. In 1933 The SS Rex ship won the coveted ‘Blue Riband’ race across the Atlantic (Blue Riband is ‘Nastro Azzurro’ in Italian, meaning ‘quick finish’). In the 1960s the cultural richness of living in Rome and the feeling of optimism and creativity, saw the birth of many iconic premium Italian brands and in 1963 Carlo Peroni took inspiration from these moments to create the first premium Italian beer, Peroni Nastro Azzurro. Peroni Nastro Azzurro remains a stylish, quality, Super Premium Brand, transcending the Beer Category. Peroni Nastro Azzurro’s aim is to create inspiration to live life in Italian style. We look forward to bringing Peroni Nastro Azzurro to Eroica Britannia and celebrating our shared Italian heritage together!
