Best in Show: Best Bike

Best Bike is our most popular category for Best in Show, our experts take hours to examine, comment and admire some of the best bikes in the country and beyond. It's a real visual treat for spectators and competitors

On Saturday 17th June enter your pride and joy in Best Bike in Show. The morning of Saturday 18th is when we honour the stars of the show - The Bike! We'd like to pay tribute to the hours of effort spent building, restoring, polishing and TLC that goes into making a pre-1987 bike into a steed fit for Eroica Britannia and The Great British Adventure. The Judging Process

Approx judging times for each category are:

BEST PRESERVED BIKE - 1950-1987 -  Judging from 9am-10am 

BEST PRESERVED BIKE - PRE 1949  -  Judging from 10am-11am 

BEST RESTORED BIKE - Judging from 11am - 12 noon

GRAND CHAMPION 2017 - Grand Final from 17.00

In The Parade Ring

We advise you to stay with your bike throughout the judging process so you are on hand to answer any questions the judges might have for you.

Due to the huge popularity of this event, we ask for your patience as start/end times for each category may vary!

The judges will be choosing 5 finalists from each category.

You MUST take your bike out of the ring when your category has ended and before the next category starts.

If your bike is one of the five bikes that have been chosen as a finalist you will be given instructions to join the judges on stage for the Grand Final of Best in Show hosted on the main Stage later in the afternoon from 17.00.

On The Main Stage

From the 5 finalists judges will be awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for each category in the Final hosted on the Main Stage.

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners for each category will be entered into overall 'Grand Champion 2017.'
